All staff attending summer technology trainings will receive a "Technology Toolkit".  
All training sessions will be conducted in the Elementary Lab.

"Working with iWork"
Join us in working with Pages, Keynote, and Numbers programs which are all part of the iWork Suite.  Learn how to create various types of Pages documents, creative spreadsheets in Numbers, and awesome presentations in Keynote.

"Cool Tech Tools"
This training session will consist of using some very cool technology tools in your classroom, such as the Mimio, eClicker responders, Animoto, video conferencing, useful/creative tools on the web, and more.

"Create Your Website"
Let us show you how to create your own website using our FirstClass web builder.  Site creation is easy using the FirstClass tools.  Teacher/staff web pages are very helpful to parents by providing classroom information, news, pictures, upcoming lessons/tests, schedules, email links, homework help, etc.  Join us for this training session and we will help you build your website to fit your needs.  If you have already created a website and would like to improve your site, feel free to attend.

"World of Wikis, Blogs and Twitter"
The world of wikis, blogs, and Twitter is full of communication, interaction and collaboration.  What is a Wiki?  Wikis are web pages with an edit button. There are multiple uses for a Wiki in the classroom including student collaboration, writing, sharing documents, etc.  What is a Blog?  Blogs are useful tools for developing writing skills.  They can be used for journaling, sharing ideas, discussions, etc.  Twitter is also a tool for communication and collaboration amongst students and teachers.  Learn how these online communication tools can be implemented in your classroom.
