MHS Artists Excel at Temple College Competition
Congratulations to our MHS art students who competed in the 46th annual Temple College Central Texas Art Competition & Exhibition. Hundreds of pieces of art were entered from 7 area colleges and 37 area high schools. In the high school division, only 38 pieces were selected to hang in the Michael Donahue Gallery located inside the new Workforce and Visual Arts Building. Five of the 38 pieces selected were created by McGregor High School artists: Matthew Crosley, Brianna Plew, Carolina Waters, and Llareli Martinez (2 pieces selected). Llareli Martinez won BEST OF SHOW out of the entire high school division for her piece "Eyes on Eternity"! Awesome job by these MHS student artists! We are proud of you!
