COVID Updates


McGregor ISD is committed to transparency and providing you with factual information about COVID safety. 

COVID safety information will be posted in the Superintendent's weekly newsletters, as necessary, which are sent via email.  Parents are encouraged to check their account settings in their Skyward Family account to ensure their email address is correct.  All district newsletters will be sent to this email address.  To add or change an email address you must login to your Skyward Family Access account, click the My Account link (top right), enter your email address under Account Settings in the "Email" box, and click the Save button (top right).


What can you do to help:
  • Do not send your child to school if they are exhibiting COVID symptoms; contact the school to arrange for a COVID test to be administered
  • Do not administer medications that mask symptoms and then send your child to school
  • Consider keeping all of your children at home if anyone in the home is positive for COVID
  • Consider having your child wear a mask especially if they are not vaccinated or are not eligible for the vaccine
  • Consider having your child vaccinated if they are eligible


MISD staff and parents of MISD students may use the COVID Self Reporting form to report any symptoms or COVID test results to the district. Click the COVID Self Report icon below to access the online form.
